The GreenLife Biovitor is a low-maintenance biological filter for rainwater harvesting. It cleans rainwater without chemical additives and helps improve water quality before it enters a tank or cistern. With no wear parts, it is designed for reliable, long-term use with minimal maintenance.

How it Works

Rainwater enters the Biovitor through the downpipe. In the first chamber, marble gravel pre-treats and mineralises the water. In the second chamber, oxygen and natural microorganisms supported by bio-active bodies break down remaining organic matter. Non-organic particles settle at the bottom, while the clarified water flows gently into the rainwater tank.

Maintenance

The Biovitor has no wear parts and requires no chemical additives. Depending on the installation and operating conditions, maintenance is generally required every five to ten years. Gutter grilles and other pre-filter systems must be cleaned regularly.
